Membership

The MAR Membership year runs from July 1 to June 30 each year. 

 

Professional Membership                                                                               

Requires a minimum completion of 300 hours of reflexology-only training(s); 60% (180 hours) of which must have been taken in a live classroom setting with an instructor. Documentation of training(s) by a school, accredited teacher must be attached to process a NEW application. Full benefits listed below.

 

Associate Membership                                                                          

​Membership is open to reflexology practitioners (with less than 300 hours of reflexology-only training), Students, Schools and Supporters (Businesses, Clients, Organizations, Associate Member Practitioner/Schools/Supporters are eligible for a listing in the on-line directory.

A MAR membership provides you with great benefits, including:

An active website presence – we serve MAR members and hundreds of visitors per month and act as a clearinghouse for information about reflexology and its benefits.

  • Client referrals – every single day of the year people search the MAR website for a reflexology practitioner in their area. An online directory for professional and associate members – the MAR listing can link directly to your website if you wish, an important marketing bonus for any professional or associate member

  • Calendar listing of regional Reflexology events.

  • Members Only access to Paid, Volunteer, and Rental Opportunities; Shares and Networking events; and a variety of  resources, documents, and downloadable materials to support your practice and promote reflexology.

 

MAR maintains an active social media presence to act as resource for our members and to promote reflexology worldwide

 

Educational Events

  • There opportunities throughout the year for continuing education in your profession, including discounted MAR-sponsored  CEU events  facilitated by highly trained and well known local, national, and international educators.

  • MAR also offers FREE educational workshops.

  • MAR is one of the oldest and most active state reflexology associations affiliated with the Reflexology Association of America.  Our members hold the highest standards of reflexology education in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Through your membership
